Involvement in an Inquiry can be a fraught experience and our team is here to help you from start to finish through the inquiry.

Our public/administrative law team, lead by Michael Imperato, Partner and Head of our Public Law team, have experience of advising and assisting individuals and campaign groups in high profile inquires, including a number of historic sexual abuse inquires and the UK wide infected blood inquiry.

Lucy O’Brien, Solicitor

Michael is a Partner and Solicitor at Watkins & Gunn.

He is the Head of our Public & Administrative Law team. He is a highly regarded public law lawyer – at a national level. Michael has been involved in some of the highest profile cases in recent years that cover Judicial Review, Education law matters  He is regularly asked to speak at Public Law conferences and events and has a back catalogue of high profile articles and media commentaries on his cases.

Lucy has recently joined the Public Law team at Watkins and Gunn Solicitors

Lucy will focus primarily on representing Haemophilia Wales and Haemophilia Northern Ireland in the Infected Blood Inquiry and assisting Michael Imperato with his public and administrative law practice.

Jonathan is a Partner at Watkins & Gunn, also Head of our Pontypool Office and responsible for Client Care. He is a highly regarded lawyer and, ranked as a leading lawyer in the Legal 500.

Eleri Griffiths, Paralegal

Eleri is a paralegal, law graduate, who joined our Public Law team in 2014. She completed her undergraduate law degree at Aberystwyth University and has recently completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC). She is involved in supporting Head of Department, Michael Imperato, in his high profile cases for clients across England and Wales.

Ross Lang, Paralegal

Ross is a Paralegal, law graduate, in our Public Law  team.

He joined Watkins and Gunn in June 2017, following completion of his Undergraduate Law Degree at Swansea University. Since then he is currently studying to complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Under the guidance of Head of Department , Michael Imperato, Ross assists in the  running of our clients’ Public Law files.
